50 People you must follow on Twitter even if they don’t follow you back
There is such a think as the best performers on Twitter and before you ask I wish I was on it but sadly I’m not!
These people generate a lot of attention for all the right reasons and you need to be following them. They post very good information about practically anything and by you just replying to one of their updates will bring a mass amount of following in your direction.
It is clearly the best exposure to the Twitter community that you can get.

I have to agree with Gabriella. Some of your suggestions would fill your screen with lots of stuff, much of no interest. Others, MAY identify you a being in favor a some specific political direction, while others really don’t post much at all.
I tell folks to follow people that post stuff they are interested. To the best of my knowledge there still is no prize for having the most followers. Plus if you are following 100′s of people (or maybe even thousands), how do you actually keep up with what they are posting.
Use Twitter to accomplish the need you signed up to satisfy.
Of course, just like Sam, this is just my opinion.

I’m followiong also Paolo Rodari.
He is a famouse italian vatican reporter.
His tweets come from the inside of the Vatican and it is the only one that I know that tweet from the Vatican City State (and it is in English language!)
There are hundreds of interesting news from the politic vision of the Vatincan and so on..
