I made my first wage online by showing others how to profit from selling niche items on eBay and five years on there is still vast profits to be made out of eBay if you put the effort in. Before I built a single webpage eBay was my vice it paid for everything that I wanted or needed and allowed me to have fun making money online. And even though eBay has changed their format to accommodate the “big boys” and seem to have forgotten the “small sellers” and Stay at Home Moms” that actually built eBay, I believe that it is still a viable source of income for a lot of small businesses.
But instead of the “good ol’ days” when you could empty out your closet and make a lot of money, you have to be careful as to where and what you purchase for resell. The buyers today are a lot more picky then they have been in the past either due to the economy or the “mystery and glamour” of eBay has started to wear off.
