How Much Should You Charge for Advertising on Your Blog?

Web logs, or “blogs,” as they are more affectionately called, are essentially a journal of daily, weekly or monthly activity that is related to your personal life or your business. Kind of like a diary of sorts, blogs can actually generate a large revenue stream, if used appropriately. While there are many ways that you can monetize your blog, perhaps one of the most effective ways is by selling advertising space on the blog. But when you have a blog where the readership has really grown and you dominate a lot of traffic in your niche you are a person of authority.

I have an expat blog as many of you are aware, and I am always getting large UK retailers approaching me for paid reviews. Companies that you would never think would go after the little guy – but they actually do!!!!
