Creating a Blog in a Niche You know Nothing About
In an ideal world you would only build blogs and websites on subjects that you were familiar with and on subjects that you enjoy being involved with. Many people find though, that when they get down to some good old fashioned keyword research, they unearth niches that they have sometimes never even heard of before but the opportunity to take advantage of these niches is simply to good to miss.
So, how do you go about creating a blog in a niche that you know nothing about? You will be pleased to know that it is really straightforward and due to the beauty of the internet you will be able to get enough information to put a blog together which will make you look like an expert in that particular niche.
Before you start putting the blog together yourself it is always a good idea to consider outsourcing the whole project. It won’t cost much to pay someone to write a new blog post three or four times per week but it goes without saying that to make your blogging pay in this way you really need to monetise it in some way, perhaps through adsense or even better, to promote your own product.
For now though, we will look at the creating and upkeep of a blog which is in a niche that you know nothing about, and doing it yourself.
You will obviously need to carry out some research and a great way to start is by taking a look at YouTube. There are videos on just about every subject that you could possibly imagine and many of them are extremely informative so you will be off to a great start in your research.
You can also do a simple google search which will offer a great deal of resources for you to look at but another interesting website is actually ezinearticles.com. I was really surprised when someone told me that this website is a great place to research but sure enough, when you take a further look more or less every subject is covered in depth.
If you spend a couple of hours taking notes you will find that you will have enough for quite a number of blog posts and it will just be a case of logging into your blog every couple of days and copying and pasting the content in.
One thing that you must remember though when you start to write your blog, make it interesting because if you just waffle on you will find that your readers most definitely won’t keep coming back for more.

Great post about building unique and expert content within a niche that someone may be unfamiliar with. I would say the best way that your blog can display the most informative content is to make an outline of the topics that you wish to discuss and ask yourself “if I had no knowledge about this particular area, why would I want to know and what type of information would I like to answer the question”. In other words, put yourself in your readers or visitors shoes.
I agree with donna. Also, have your friends and relatives read your material to get some feedback. Make sure they give you 100% honest feedback.
