Finding niche markets – an easy approach

It makes me smile to myself when people tell me that they can’t think of a niche market to enter with regards to their internet marketing endeavours.

There are thousands and thousands of markets for you to enter and to make a great deal of money from. Many people start off by looking at niche markets like insurance or gambling and then get disillusioned when they see that the competition is massive. Well, it is definitely possible to make money online from those markets but to start off with there are other ways and finding a niche market to operate in has never been easier.

To start with make notes of your own hobbies and interests and see what comes up there, I can more or less guarantee that if you drill down and take some time to think about it you will come up with something.

Another idea is to visit your local store and read through a few specialist magazines, you will find lots of niche markets with the added bonus that if companies are paying to advertise in magazines there must be an interest in what they are offering.

An even simpler way of finding niche markets, and one of my favourites, is to go online and take a look at ebay pulse. Here you will find the most popular markets on ebay at any given time and you will find niches under the various categories that you won’t have thought of in your wildest imagination.

Also look at the best sellers on Amazon and you will soon find that you have enough niche markets to last you a life time. The trick is to carry around with you a notepad and pen and be constantly looking out, it may be an innocent remark by a friend that could be your next niche market.
