Instead offer to exchange banners with them so that you can both be benefiting from the traffic without having to pay a single cent for it. I have done it many times through niche sites and I have never been turned down.

3. Submit Articles – Submit your articles to ezine directories such as articlesbase.com or goarticles.com and have the bio set to your website and then let the traffic flow through. Once you have done this social bookmark your articles for even more free traffic.

4. Make a Squidoo Lens – Squidoo lenses are very popular and the free website gets a lot of traffic. It is very worthwhile creating a couple of lenses that point at your website for free website traffic.

5. Forum Posting – This is my personal favourite for building traffic on a regular basis for free! All you need to do is contribute great quality to the forums and then have links back to you in your signature. Use keywords that you are targeting in your signature and then you will be building your seo at the same time.

6. Yahoo Answers – Yahoo answers does an amazing job in creating traffic very quickly and get you ranking on Google at a very fast  pace. It is very similar to forum posting but the answers tend to more specific and for high ranking keywords you can get your answer on the first page of Google within a few hours. With Yahoo Answers though go for long in depth answers and then you will get the best from it.

7. Twitter - Twitter is very powerful right now and can bring you an amazing amount of free website traffic. I would even go as far as saying that you could run all your website traffic from Twitter there is just that much of it for the taking. If you reply to tweets in your niche or even using high quality keywords in your tweets you will get amazing results. Also make sure you add a retweet button on your blog then they can tell Twitter all about you.

8. Recruit Affiliates – One of the best ways to get traffic through to your website is by getting other people to do it via your affiliates. If you pay them well, look after them and provide a sales page that converts you will keep them for life! I have affiliates that have been affiliating my products for years and because they trust me and I deliver they bring me lots of free website traffic.

9. FaceBook Group – Start a FaceBook group in your niche with up to date content along with links so that you can create free website traffic. Then whenever you add a new page, new product or have some other exciting news you can tell everyone about it. 10. SEO - You can build unlimited free website traffic by building up your backlinks so that you rank high on Google for the best keywords in your niche. This can be done gradually by spending 30 minutes a week at it and then seeing really good results from it at a later date.
