It seems that blog commenting is all of the rage at the moment but as per usual when something becomes popular you get lots of people doing it completely the wrong way and it usually ends up doing them far more harm than good.
The reason that people leave blog comments, in the world of internet marketing anyway, is to get back links to their website which they hope will go some way in improving their search engine rankings.
That’s fair enough but so many people just completely spam these blogs with comments that have actually nothing to do with the theme of the blog and in the end they will end up ruining it for everyone.
Lets say you are leaving a comment on a blog which specialises in dog training. You should read the blog to make sure you can gauge what the owner is talking about and when you are satisfied you can leave a comment with a link back to your website or blog which specialises in Alsations. Do you get what I’m talking about.
I have seen blog comments on Aquarium blogs linking back to online casinos! Doing this is a complete waste of time and it would be far wiser to make the effort and choose where you are going to leave your comments carefully.
When you do take the time you will find that the links back to your website or blog will be well worth the extra effort.
Many blog owners choose to set their blog so that comments aren’t allowed and just in case you were wondering, that is one of the main reasons, they are sick and tired of receiving spam on a daily basis.
