I have been observing many different ways of generating quality traffic through to my Blogs. Some have worked and some simply haven’t. That is what is so good about this business, being able to experiment for minimal cost and reaping the rewards when they materialise.
So here are the top five ways of generating quality traffic to your Blog:
1. Article Writing – Whether you’re a bum and add hundreds of articles a day, or you’re a quality article writer that creates five or so a week of fine quality it is still my favourite marketing tool. You should NEVER knock the power of an article with a bio that people just have to click through to or the backlink that it creates back to you.
2. Forum Marketing – Whether you respond to a question or ask one yourself people will be blind if they don’t notice you. The more time you spend on them the more people will see your amazing signature and want to come and visit you. We are a very noisy population and simply can’t resist a little peep.
3. Viral Marketing – Creating your own product with your own links and then giving it away is one of the most amazing marketing tactics there is. I have created many viral products and I still get emails from people that have read my viral e-books that I created four years ago. What if you could create a quality free product and five people used it as their list builder imagine how much free traffic would return to you and you can easily make money from it too!
4. Press Releases – If you can write an article you can write a quality press release. I have created many over the last three years and there a brilliant free way of adding traffic to your Blog. As long as you provide quality information about your Companies product or service people will read it and be pleased to come and see you.
5. Social Bookmarking – Bookmark everything that you do within your business and you will be vastly rewarded. Yes I do appreciate bookmarking every Blog or article entry can be time consuming but it brings you amazing traffic that you would find very difficult to achieve elsewhere.

*Submit your posts to social media sites
*Ping your Blog posts
*Submit your Blog to Web/Blog Directories
*Comment on other peoples Blogs
*Tag your Blogs

Thanks a lot for the good info. I agree to all of them.
In my opinion, writing an article is not difficult. However, I’m not convinced yet to write an article unrelated to my category (jewelry). I believe it will drive traffic but I doubt how could it drive my sales. I saw some people do that. Yes they got traffic. But sales didn’t really follow. What do you suggest?

Great Post…..and I fully agree to all you said. My biggest hurdle in InterNet Marketing was getting over the FEAR I had that noone would want to hear what I have to say.
I realize I am not alone in this and just want to encourage all other “newbies” that everyone is different…..and with millions of “different” people on the net all looking for someone to identify with……I finally realized SOMEONE, maybe even a few someone’s will like the way I present the info better than how someone else does.
I’m sorry it took me so long, but now that I “get it”…watch me SOAR……….I’m putting up my FIRST BLOG today, after several failed attempts.
