Without even knowing you I can definitely say that you should not quit your blog. Why would you want to anyway? The question of quitting your blog usually crops up when it has been up for a while and it has either made no money or has stopped making money.

You usually find that the person who has set up the blog has seen some of these courses being advertised, promising earnings of thousands of dollars per day and when they look at their blog and realise they are only making a few dollars per week they simply give up.

There are a few different ways to look at this and each one just goes to confirm that quitting your blog is the last thing that you should ever do.

Even if you are only making a few dollars from your blog at the moment the return on investment will still be extremely attractive as your probable only outlay was the cost of a domain name at less than $10. If lack of earnings is the reason you are thinking of quitting, take a look to see if you are doing anything wrong. Is there anyway that you could improve your blog or the ways that you are driving traffic to it. Just take a step back and it is quite common that something will jump out at you that you could improve upon.

Another reason that you may have for quitting is that you are simply tired of writing blog posts on a subject that you no longer find interesting. If this is the case you have some choices open to you. You could outsource the blog posting, that is a very simple method to take and you will no longer have to write about something that you are not interested in.

Another option would be to simply make sure the blog is monetised properly and just concentrate on promoting it. It will more than likely have plenty of content on it so it will be search engine friendly and you may be surprised that the blog will carry on earning you money whilst you get on with other things.

Finally, if you really cannot stand the site of it for one minute longer you could always sell it. There are many factors that will ensure a good price depending on the age of the blog, the revenue details etc but if you have just completely had enough of your blog, don’t quit, just sell it! Don’t under estimate the amount of work that you have carried out already because there are many people out there who will most definitely recognise the value of it.
