Has FaceBook got the spam factor?

In recent months I have become quite a big fan of FaceBook and in many ways it has taken over my love for Twitter. Though I could never give either of them up as I love them both equally. They both offer the opportunity to chat to people and network with future and present business contacts.

I often find myself slightly more happy with FaceBook for one they are known as being the anti-spam social networking site. If you invite too many friends at random they will often suspend you or give you a friendly warning compared to Twitter where you would only get suspended if someone reports you.

My plan for 2009 and beyond

So we all start the year with our plans for the New Year but which one of us actually stick to them?

How many of us by the middle of January have discarded them and simply said to ourselves “Next January we will”. I have done that myself at times too.

When I was a smoker it was this new year I’m giving up or this year ill spend less on……………..etc.

But with this business we can’t afford it to simply take a back seat and to be forgotten about. You won’t reach those impressive salaries that you’re looking for if you did this.

When I was reading the paper online yesterday one article struck me.

A pair of aussie blokes had been served with court papers on facebook as they had been playing cat and mouse with the system. Basically if you dont attend court you have to have your papers served to you by the plantiff. Therefore they had tried every avenue to get hold of them and had failed miserably on all counts.
