The Fashion of Internet Marketing

A happy ending is something that we all love to read about and this is certainly one of my favourite stories so far this year. But were only in March so watch this space!

I have recently become one of Yahoo Answers latest addicts and answered several questions on there as well as using it to build my business.  (you can read my Yahoo Answers Traffic Guide to find out more about it). I came across a lovely lady on there recently and all we had in common was the drive to succeed and being the same age – she is also 27 years old.

The Lady really struck a cord with me like many others in this current uncertain financial climate she too had been left jobless. Having had a high powered career in Public Relations in the fashion industry in New York. She was another statistic now though that had been made redundant and due to lack of jobs was seriously considering a career change as she didn’t think there was any choice in the matter. Then after reading one of my answers she contacted me and asked if I could help her out of her predicament.

After thinking it over I was amazed after searching the internet how the fashion niche was begging for more marketers to take advantage of it. Yes there are people in the niche but they just don’t seem to understand what the public want and go the complete wrong way about marketing it.

So through talking her through what to do as even though she had good computer skills didn’t know a thing about setting up a Website or Blog she put her very ideas into practice and I couldn’t believe that it only took her a month to get it all set up.

She had a website full of information and products for sale including products in some of the best brands imaginable. It also included a selection of dropship products as I know they don’t give you back the best return but because it is an automated website it is earnings that haven’t cost her anything to actually create which is amazing.

We also filled it to the top with e-books full of fashion information. This included everything from how to wax your legs to how to design your own clothes. It was truly amazing it really was. If she hadn’t had the experience though it would have not been possible. She was like this amazing wealth of knowledge she knew everything about her niche and treated it like what she would have wanted if she was shopping or wanting information online.

In the first month of trading she earned the same as what she did in her old career. The only difference being that she worked a quarter of the hours that she had done before. Don’t forget about all the contacts she had before that had now being brought to her new website. In my eyes she now had the best of both worlds the money she loves and the hours that anyone in a high powered job craves.

What do I get out of it you may ask – The satisfaction of seeing someone else succeed in this business without losing lots of money on dodgy internet ventures?

Think of this before you enter a niche do you know enough about it?

That’s the secret to being good in your niche. Then you can get websites/Blogs up and running at a very fast speed. Whilst those that don’t spend months and months researching something they know very little about.

*People whose house is going to be repossessed

*People whose business is going bust

*Students who need money

*People who want to get rich quick

*Parents that need help with children

*Students who have failed/frightened they will fail their exams

*Women that cant get pregnant

*Men that can’t get a woman

*Common illnesses including Headaches, Backpain, Depression, Stress etc

*Extra marital affairs

*Job Hunting/Career Change

*Selling your home

*Renovating your home

*Stress management

*Online business people

*Divorce/Separation

*Dieting and obesity

*Men with breasts

*Top ten lists

*Pet related illnesses

*E-books in different languages

*Save your relationship

*A goodnights sleep

*Creating gifts at home (great in the recession)

Out of that list I bet you could come up with at least five niches that you’re very experienced in. When people contact me asking what they should do I always ask them what there interests are and what job they do now as this is a brilliant starting point on your internet  marketing career.
