Time verses money – what do you have to give?

One of the hardest parts of internet marketing is do decide what you have to give and having money for your online business can have it earning a lot quicker than you would expect. This is because you will have the time to put into creating products because you are paying out for the other sections of the business.

You can have someone to do all the data entry tasks for you for example they could easily free up 20 hours of your working week. I have someone that just does my social bookmarking for me once a week and this on it’s own would cost me at least 25 hours a week in time yet the cost for it is a drop in the ocean.

Just think of all the tasks that you do every week that each cost you a lot of time to carry out. Look at all the jobs you do and consider which ones you could train someone else to do for you. Then outsource them – go to outsource companies that specialise in staff from Asia i.e. odesk.com and you can easily get a team of fantastic workers for $100 a week.

"Time verses money"

I used to sacrifice time to save money and then I realised that if I wanted to take my business to the next level it was very important that I spent some cash on my business and hired a team to help me with the day to day jobs. You soon realise when this time has come for you when you spend four hours everyday just doing daily tasks such as bookmarking, submitting articles or press releases, backlinking, following people on social networking sites or even getting rid of automated emails from your Yahoo account.

You can also hire people on an ongoing basis as required and this can be cheaper than using a webdesigner for your workload.

Just have a think of how you can add to your business productivity just by hiring a selection of staff and make money doing jobs that bring you in a wage not just running yourself into the ground through the simple tasks.

    Hi Samantha
I agree with you about outsourcing some of the more straight forward jobs, it’s something that I have been putting off for ages, but now I can see the real value.

It’s also the major jobs too. I am currently working on a new project, that if I had tried to do myself would have taken me months to learn all the ‘techie stuff’, so I thought I would test the water and see what it would cost.. I was expecting a bill of thousands of dollars…instead I was given a quote of hundreds and a really quick turn around.

It’s an understatement to say I now see the benefit of outsourcing…I’m still kicking myself that it took me so long to realise…lol

Great post, I love the vibe you have on your blog and I’ll be back again soon
    cheers
    Steve
