In a nutshell, social bookmarking content in your blog will give it authority in the eyes of Google and you should see a rise in your search engine results. You should really use the social bookmarking sites that have the dofollow tag and the higher the PageRank of the bookmarking sites, the more effective your results will be.

Every time that you add a bookmark to one of the pages on your blog or website, you create what is known as a back link. It is important that the back link that you create is what is known as a real back link. In some cases you will find that the bookmarking sites will create their own type of link but these are basically a waste of time and not really worth bothering with.
