As blogging is seen as an occupation that can be carried out anywhere I thought it would be a good idea to talk about your favourite places to blog.

For me, here on the Algarve in Portugal, I like to sit outside my favourite cafe which looks over the Mediteranean with a glass of fresh orange juice and my laptop. This is when it really hits home for me about how I now make my living. It wasn’t to long ago that I’d be sitting in Starbucks in Manchester with the rain lashing againt the window, taking my time over an over priced expresso whilst trying to get motivated to write a post to my blog.

Don’t get me wrong, I’ve got some lovely memories of my time in the UK but as we are talking about our favourite places to blog then sitting here looking over the Med is definitely mine.

I know someone in the UK who has a successful blog who actually loves going down to the public library everyday to write out their blog posts. The reason being that they find it lonely at home and they prefer the feeling of actually going to work, so to speak.

It really is up to the individual and whatever suits them but that really is the great thing about blogging, you can do it anywhere that there is an internet connection, but even if there isn’t an internet connection I suppose you could write your blog posts and submit them later.

I read a brilliant story yesterday about someone, again from the UK, who has a number of succesful blogs from which he earns $150 per day. That amount is certainly not to be sniffed at but he has decided to move to Thailand and carry on blogging from there. $150 per day basically means that him and his family are able to live like royalty and still save 4 days pay per week.

Blogging and internet marketing can really enable you to live your dreams and I know that when I mention it to my parents there was never any opportunities such as this and I am only talking about a few years ago.

I have found from the many people that I have spoken to on this subject that the only thing that really stops anyone blogging where they want, is themselves. Just start small and go to a public place where there is an internet connection. Start blogging and just you see how it makes you feel. Even now, with people on their computers everywhere you go, you will still get looks from people who are wondering what you are up to.

I was writing my blog posts yesterday and got speaking to a lady who also had a laptop in front of her. She said that she was on holiday but had brought het laptop with her so that she could keep an eye on her ebay account, she wanted to do this as it was her hobby and she absolutely loved it. I had to smile because I am exactly the same with my internet business and I knew exactly just what she meant.
