The question, why did you start your internet business? always intrigues me because I am absolutely fascinated by the replies that are given. You hear the obvious ones like wanting to earn more money but also replies like people wanting to give up their job and earn a passive income whilst they are traveling around the world.

I always advise people to ask themselves this question at different times through their internet marketing career so that they can keep on track with regard to the hopes and dreams of their internet business.

If it is ten in the evening and you are sitting in front of your computer without a clue as how to install the latest WordPress plug in that you have just purchased. You feel like tearing your hair out and throwing the computer out of the window. It is at times like this why you should remember why you started your internet business, you may be trying to put together a better life for you and your family, you might have your eye on a new car or memorable holiday for the whole family.

Just remember the reasons at times like these because they will spur you on. It would be easy at times like these to just turn your computer off and go to bed. What a lovely thought, instant relief from your frustrations but the thing is, when you tell yourself that you will crack on with it tomorrow the chances are that you wont. You may have had some instant relief but it wouldn’t be to heavy of me to suggest that you will have a lifetime of disappointment. Not just because of the fact that you gave up on installing a WordPress plug in but because of the fact that your dreams are now even further away.

Ask yourself, why did you start your internet business?

It is easy to think that it is only you who feels this way, and only you who feels like packing it in when times get rough. It must be realized that everyone feels like this at some stage but it is the ones who realize that positive action defeats these feelings and the main thing is that you don’t give up and to push on.

It is only human nature to want to give up but you will find that if you are in the minority who keeps on going you will be one of the people who makes a success of their internet marketing business. Next time you have had an article rejected by ezinearticles or when you get a refund request from a produvt you have just sold and you have just about had enough, remember the reasons why you started your internet business, take a minute to relax and smile to yourself, then get back on with the job in hand, you’ll be glad that you did, believe me.
