I often get asked by people do I really need a Blog for my niche. Well the truth is that you should always make the effort in order to get the best results from it.

I have a Blog for all of my major niches as it is the perfect place to showcase your work so that the world can see what you have to offer it. If you have simply created a mini product for a quick surge of cash it is pointless and makes your work harder. But when that niche that you focus all your attention on is what you would call a larger income stream the need for a Blog is very important.

Take the fashion niche as an example – having just a shop selling beautiful clothes simply doesnt cut it. You need a niche Blog that will allow the readers the opportunity to discuss the products that you are selling. It also gives you the opportunity to add to your sales as the customers confidence in you and your products will be much higher. If you had an online clothes shop you could give the readers tips on which are the best sports bra then point them directly to products that you are selling.

You can also gain extra traffic to your websites through backlinks. Turning Blog posts into articles and submitting them to free article submission directories is a wonderful way of adding to your long term traffic. Then when people view the articles they will be in a position to then go on and visit your other webpages.

I was originally one of the late starters when it came to Blogging which is something I often regret. But since jumping onto the Blogging Bandwagon I have enjoyed every single moment of it.
